Acia Rizvi, B.Sc, DMD
Dr. Acia Rizvi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology graduating Cum Laude and a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Saskatchewan. Since completing her dental degree, Dr. Rizvi has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education in general dentistry to provide patients with a wide variety of dental services including, dental sedation, implants and braces. Dr. Rizvi’s passion for the field of dentistry and dedication to her patients' dental education, smile and oral health help patients achieve their most optimum in dental health. Dr. Rizvi provides IV, oral and nitrous sedation to help anxious patients both adults and children overcome their dental fears providing a more pleasant dental experience helping patients progress towards a healthier smile. Truly passionate about her craft, Dr. Rizvi's special interests in general dentistry include complex smile reconstruction, cosmetic smile reconstruction involving braces, implants, veneers and crowns, root canal therapy, surgical extractions of wisdom teeth, implant dentistry, children's dentistry and dental sedation. Dr. Rizvi offers children's dentistry, where she uses her gentle and compassionate nature to make both children and their parents feel at ease during procedures. At times when children cannot overcome their anxiety or fears Dr. Rizvi will try and make the experience more pleasant with the help of dental sedation, allowing patients and parents alike to feel more at ease.
Dr. Rizvi and her husband are proud parents to three busy and growing children. In her free time, Dr. Rizvi enjoys outdoor activities including biking, hiking, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Rizvi enjoys the arts, music and cuisine, pursuing her culinary ventures at home by trying new dishes out on her family and friends.
Dr. Rizvi is a member of the Alberta Dental Association, College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Dental Association.
